Im Rahmen der Interkulturellen Wochen 2023 führt Dirk Schmerschneider auf Englisch durch die Daueraustellung:

Famous brands like Audi, Wanderer, MZ or Diamant; but also smaller brands like Moll or ESWECO – they all find their place in the Saxon Motoring Museum Chemnitz.

They are representatives of the fact that Saxony was not only shaped by vehicle construction, but also had a significant influence on it. We take our visitors on a journey from the end of the 19th century to the present and show which technical inventions were developed by resourceful minds, which racing successes were celebrated here and which stories and fates lie behind the vehicles.

In the historic multi-storey car park from 1928 we do not only show cars, motorbikes and bicycles but also the development of mobility. And we consider the question “How do/did people move?”.
